Connection ? - at CDG
British Airways cancelled our Heathrow to CDG flight and booked us on a later one. We now arrive at CDG at 1:45 pm.
I need to book CDG to VCE and I want to arrive in Venice before dark, since it's our first visit there so we'll be newbie's getting into town. This leaves me with no options, but an AirFrance/Alitalia flight out of CDG at 3:25.
Can I do it? I assume I'll have to go through customs/passport control at CDG. Carrying on, so no wait at baggage. Can't figure out if we're leaving on AF from the same terminal because the CDG site shows AF at ALL terminals (arriving on BA into 2B.
I can take a Veuling flight out of Orly later in the day that will get us into Venice in the evening-IF I HAVE TO
Thoughts?

If you're traveling soon, Venice will be in daylight until 20:00 or so, making a late arrival not so nightish.
Since I'd rather be in Paris than almost anywhere, I'd jump at the chance at spending even a couple of hours making my way through town on the way to Orly.
The free bonus is that you don't have to sweat out that 3:25 connection. As the Froggies say, <<merde aura lieu>>.

Thanks, Robs, but our plans are as follows:
To Venice 10/28
Train to Florence 10/31
Train to Rome 11/3
Fly to Paris 11/8
Home 11/18
So... we're going to Italy in late October, which will, I'm sure mean daylight ends pretty early.
For all the reasons stated (and yours), flying out of CDG is my preference and the 3:25 is the best. So it might be a moot point, but just not sure if I can make it.
