Connecting flights at Paris CDG
Hi Friends,
I would be traveling with my wife to prague from New Delhi from Airfrance on 8th Feb 2016 we have to change our plane at Paris CDG where we need to board a plane run by airfrance only. My plane would be reaching Paris at about 6:10 at terminal 2E in the morning and our next flight to prague will be at 7:20 from terminal 2E. According to airfrance our immigration would be happening at Paris airport and our luggage will be collected by us at prague airport.
Please let me know will it be possible for us to catch up the flight after completing the immigration at Paris.
Please suggest.

That would depend on several factors.
I assume you are using the 24 hour clock and this is the early morning - when a lot of flights from NA come in and immigration may be very busy. But I can't guarantee which terminals we are talking about.
Assuming this is a single ticket if you don't make the ongoing plane they are required to put you on the next place to Prague with available seats. If they are separate tickets you would be considered a no-show and then have to buy a new ticket at the walk up price.
And yes, you do go through Immigration in Paris but will pick up your luggage in Prague.

It does sound like a single ticket flight (meaning that your ticket says that it's a flight from New Delhi to Prague), as you are saying that your luggage is going all the way through.
We have flown from Los Angeles to Prague on Air France and made the connection with this timeline, but you need to walk very quickly! There will be people from AF who will help you along the way. Good luck!
And if you'd like the name of a wonderful guide in Prague, we had one I can highly recommend - just ask. I need to look her up. Wonderful city!

It all depends. We have had it take from 10 minutes to about 40 minutes to get through Immigration. In the latter instance a plane from Africa had landed just before a couple of flights from the US - and it was taking a very long time to process many of those on the flight from Africa. (Many seemed to have very complicated situations requiring very long conversations with lots of paperwork versus the bonjour and stamp for NA tourists).
They eventually divided this into 2 separate lines to avoid a massive back up of people from tourist flights - leaving just 2 agents to deal with the African visitors.

I would think you could do that in a little over an hour. I have multiple times. And you don't even have to cross the airport or anything. Just don't dawdle, of course. I don't think I've ever spent more than 30 minutes in immigration at CDG.

ak, here’s the contact for our guide in Prague. Jana is a young (well, maybe 40) woman who was very open to whatever we wanted to see and tailored the tour to us. We asked her to help us on two consecutive mornings so we weren’t too jet-lagged: the day after we arrived and the following day. We learned about the history of the Czech republic and what we were walking past - it made the city so much more enjoyable.
