connectin time
I am looking at flights from SFO to Copenhagen, and the best flights in terms of airlines and travel times give me 1hr15min connection in Munich. Is that enough time? If I am through-booked, is the airline responsible if I miss my connection? I have the same problem coming back, but in Montreal, with just as little time for the connection. I still have memories of racing behind a wheelchair through the Frankfurt airport to make a connection, but this time we will not have an airport attendant pushing a wheelchair to expedite the travel time between gates.

Munich is a long hallway. Can be long from one end to the other.
Now nearly all my flights from Munich have been late.
My opinion is that the airlines know what they do and if they give you a connection time it is sufficient.
One hour is most usually ok from entrance to boarding gate in all the airports I go.
You will not have to care forluggage as they will follow automatically and there is no immigration.
I don't see a problem.

Not the same airport but when we arrived in Lisbon from the USA we had to go through passport control to get to the connecting flight to Bologna. The line was huge and we missed our 1 hour 10 minute connection.
The airline rerouted us on later flights but we had to fly first to Frankfurt then to Bologna, arriving 6 hours late.
To make matters worse they left our luggage in Lisbon and we didn't get it until 3 days later.

I presume you have rejected a SAS direct SFO-CPH flight, and among the one-stop itineraries, you probably chose the Lufthansa flights with 1 hr 15 min connection in MUC, with LH2438 leaving MUC around 6:25pm?

Airfare wise, yes. The carrier is responsible for getting you to CPH without charging you for the air part. There seems to be one more flight to CPH, LH2446 leaving MUC around 7:25pm, so if there is a little delay there is a LH plane to CPH. Whether there is a seat for you is a different matter.
If there is a connection foul up, you have a better chance of arriving in CPH with your luggage if you are traveling with carry-on only.
