I was browsing the Versailles website and am confused on what it's open. It seems that it's only open June to October. Can anyone please confirm this? I was interested in visiting in late march or early april.

High Season: April-October, Low Season: November to March. Times differ according to season. Opening dates/times/ at the link above. Dates that it's closed are also on the same page.

The website doesn't say anything like that
It says the High season is April 1 - Oct 31, and Low season (some shorter hours) are Nov 1 - Mar 31

I think that you may be confused by the ticket buying function, which appears to be limited to the next 8 weeks - ie 20 july to 17 Sept.
I can see no indications that it isn't open all year. you will just have to wait til Jan or feb to buy your tickets.
