concorde to louvre

How far is it from place de la concorde to the louvre entrance? Is it walkable or better to do by bus or metro?

Place de la Concorde is at the north end of the Jardin des Tuileries (gardens and park) and the Louvre is at the south end. It is just a short walk from one to the other.

Not only is it a short walk, it's a very nice one. As you are coming from Concorde and facing the Louvre, you might want to aim to your right and walk on the upper level walkway that parallels the gardens to the river side. There are some interesting sculptures there and a nice view down onto the gardens.

Last time we were in Paris(our first time) we walked from the Arc du Triomph all the way to the Louvre ! We stopped at Lenotre for coffe and a parisian chocolate dessert, which was so goood!
It shouldn't take more than 10 mins from Place de la Concorde to the louvre.
