Colosseum underground tour - Walks of Italy worth the $$?

Jump to last reply

I marked my calendar to make reservations for this. Alas, they are already booked for our dates on the official website (coopculture.it). I'm disappointed. I've seen the colosseum, but before the underground was open to the public. Everyone in my group wanted to see it.

There is an option to book with Walks of Italy (at about $100 pp) for the Colosseum, including the underground tour, and the forum. I'm not crazy about tours, and it's more than I would like to spend; however, I would do so if worth it.

Please tell me if you've done the underground tour and if it's worth the extra money. Of course, we can just book tix for the Colosseum/Forum without the underground access and just look down and get an idea.

Thank you!
