I'll be in Cologne, Germany for a few days for a conference.
I'm looking for tips and suggestions on what to do, where to visit? I enjoy pub hopping and grabbing a few drinks in the evening. Won't have much time during the day.
I'm not in my 20's so the night club scene doesn't interest me.
Suggestions appreciated.

You don't tell us when this visit will take place.
Assuming it will be warm outside, a nice locale for an evening drink would be oner of the wine restaurants in the old part of tthe town, close to the Rhein.
Obviously, the cathedral should be on your list as well as the museumn right next to it.
A walk over the bridge paralelling the railroad tracks is fun, because (1) you get a nic view of the busy river,(2) it is the perfect photo op. of the cathedral, and (3) for a train fan the constant rumble of slow going trains right next to you is sort of "awsome".
It's been a while since I last worked in Cologne, but at the time there was a nice restaurant, in a terrace-like building along the river north of the station.
During the week, just ambling along the pedestrian mall from the cathdreal going south is also fun. And do try the local beer, "Goelsch"
