Colico on Lake Como

Jump to last reply

Thank you so much to everyone who has responded to my previous posts - your help has been great! We are now doing a week in Tuscany, back to Rome for 4 days, the train up to Lake Como for a week before flying home from Malpensa. We've been quoted a very good rate on an apartment in Colico - I understand from the maps and guides that this is the northern part of the lake, on the less visited side, on the trainline to Milan. Is this correct? I'm assuming that the good rate (950 euro for 5 people for a week) is because this is not a well known village, and the agency La Breva - - also doesn't seem well known as I have found absoulutely no reviews! Anyone have any thoughts on Colico or this agency - I have looked at Slow Travel and they advertise there but still no reviews.

Thanks everyone!
