Coastal Southern Spain in November - Best Weather

Hi everyone.

I'll be spending some time in southern Spain in November and was looking for the place with the best weather. I'm considering Valencia, Alicante, Malaga and Cadiz.

Thanks in advance.

There's not much to choose between them (weatherwise) Cadiz is likely to be less warm ... but this is a gut feeling rather than based on information or experience. Personally, I would base myself around Malaga - from there you can easily strike out to Granada, Nirje, Marbella, and Gibraltar. I was there in December and it was late 60s early 70s for a full week and not a cloud in the sky (but I may have been very lucky).

Hope you're not planning a beach vacation - since it is unlikely to be warm enough at any of them. fine for tennis, golf and sightseeing - but not beach.

Malaga should be warmest, both because of the latitude and because it is located at the Mediterranean Sea which is warmer than the Atlantic. However, too cold for swimming but great for sightseeing.

Thanks everyone for your responses.

I've decided to spend 4 days in Valencia and three days in Alicante, in addition to 4 days in Madrid during my stay in Spain this trip. It will make for some warmer weather after spending 4 days in Berlin before arriving in Madrid. Any suggestions for restaurants, things to do, see, etc... for Valencia and/or Alicante?

Thanks again.
