CNN votes Utrecht the worlds best cycling city

Jump to last reply

According to CNN Utrecht is the best city in the world for cycling. Not sure I would agree, since they don't include Groningen in their list - which is far better imho, or even the new city of Almere, which is extremely cycle friendly (about the only good thing one can say about the place ;) ).

Anyway their report is based on the report by http://copenhagenize.eu/index/ which actually puts Amsterdam top.

CNN disagrees - blaming tourists on hire bikes for making it less pleasant to cycle there, they also include Portland Or in their list.
