City Pharma -- or where else in Paris to find beauty products?

Jump to last reply

I thought I might go to a French pharmacy to pick up some unusual-to-me beauty products. In particular I would be looking for face sunscreens and moisturizers and hair products. Google has led me down the rabbit-hole of City Pharma, which sounds like either the best place in the universe, or the most crowded, insane shopping trip. I've been reading that the best way to approach this is to bring a shopping list, even with photos, and go first thing in the morning, and get out fast.

Paris experts: How nutty is City Pharma? What's the best time to go? Or is there a less-crazy alternative place to go?

and ... what have you bought there that you love and cannot get in the US (or is super-expensive)?

thank you!
