cinque terre or Sestri Levante

Jump to last reply

Hi! I will be in the Italian Riviera for 5 days in August (yeah, i know, peak of summer ). We're thinking of going to Cinque Terre, and the areas of SML, Portofino, and possibly Sestri Levante. It's our first time visitng the Italian Riviera, and given that it's summer, hence definitely crowded, which donyou guys think is the best area to use as base, and why? Also, if it is in Cinque Terre, which village would you recommend? Appreciate your thoughts.

Oh, by the way, we have a 2.5 year old son with us.

Thank you.
