Cincinnati area Fodorites

Due to such a great response from Cincinnati area Fodorites on a previous thread, I thought I would go ahead and start a brand new one just for us (just like Texas and Chicago).

The date for us meeting that has been thrown out is Saturday, March 4 here in Cincinnati. Tony mentioned going to Nicholson's in downtonwn. It is a Scottish pub restaurant. What does everybody think?

Everyone that is interested, please post here and I’ll start collecting e-mail addresses. If you don’t feel comfortable posting your e-mail address, feel free to e-mail.

Hope to hear from you soon! Tammy

Count me in (tentatively).

And besides the restaurant review I posted earlier, I overlooked the fact that Nicholson's has a web site of its own:

www.nicholsonspub.com

My e-mail account is on the fritz and I hope to have it fixed soon, and I will e-mail you, Tammy.

Best wishes,

Rex

Tammy
Just reread your post and noticed one thing---you mentioned Saturday March 4th, the fourth is actually a Sunday. So if Sunday, March 4th is OK we'll be there!
BTW I don't have much preference for restaurant, just name a place and it'll be OK with me.
Thanks Emily

I'm glad Matt brought this to the top! Are there anyone else out there interested in coming? Lexington and Louisville are not too far away.

Tammy

I wanted to bring this to the top and see if everyone was still interested in getting together.

We had originally planned to meet on Saturday, March 4 in downtown Cincinnati at Nicholson's, a Scottish pub.

Let me know! Thanks. Tammy

Da**! I just saw this one! And I live in Cincinnati. Just missed you guys. Anyone want to get together next week? I'm making my 1st trip to Europe in 2 wks. How about the Dubliner this time on Montgomery Rd. Good Irish food. E-mail me if you want to.

Sorry. How was the meeting? How many people showed up? Was everyone there a veteran traveler? Just checking.

Maybe there can be a reunion next year (Louisville, Cincinnati or Columbus would all be of equal access for me). I had to miss this one, too? any reports? What are Tony and Emily like?

From time to time, I disclose that I am from Westerville (OH). I have lots of family in the Louisville area. Floyds Knobs (IN), to be exact.

Why wait 'til next year? No particular reason. Let's hear how the gang got on today.
My daughter and I and Cheryl and her son met Tammy yesterday afternoon at Montgomery's on the river. We were sorry that Tony and Emily didn't make it, but we had a really good visit. Tammy is a wonderful hostess, and I want to thank her here for her effort in getting us together. We got acquainted and compared trips past and future. It's amazing how much there is to talk about with people you only know through the Forum. I look forward to future meetings with more of you.
