Christmas in Vienna. Where to after Vienna? Help please!

Jump to last reply

My daughter and I are planning our first white Christmas in Europe. We will be there for 3 weeks and we're trying to be smart in relation to time spent travelling etc. We've checked out a number of posts and thought that we'd spend Christmas in Vienna. Our draft itinerary looks like this:
17/12 - Arrive Frankfurt, travel to Munich.
20/12 - Munich -> Salzburg
23/12 - Salzburg -> Vienna
27/12 - Vienna -> Not sure i) the Alps? ii) Cesky Kromlov?
30/12 - ??? -> Not sure i) Florence? ii) Prague?
2/01 - Fly to Paris???
5/01 - Paris -> Frankfurt
06/01- Frankfurt -> Melbourne
We got some great tips the last time that we travelled to Europe from Fodorites, and are keen to get some input into this itinerary. We've got our time up to the 27th worked out, but then it's wide open. Your thoughts on where to head after Vienna would be welcome. We both love Florence, but it's a long trip!
