Christmas in Slovenia

Any advise on where to stay in Slovenia over Christams. I had a fantastic week in the Austrain Alps a few years ago but would like to try Slovenia partly because I fancy a change and also because i believe it may be cheaperer.

I would like to find a spa resort with hot baths, mountains,Grinch etc
