Christmas in Interlaken

Hey everybody, I am going to be in Interlaken on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and I was wondering if anyone knew of a good church to go to for a local Christmas service? Also, any other ideas of things to do in Interlaken. On Christmas morning we are riding the train up to the Jungfrau, but after that we do not really have anything planned. Are there horse-drawn sleigh rides or anything offered in town?

The trip to the Jungfrau will take most of the day, if not all day, stop at the villages along the route and take the time to walk around. There are also a lot of things to do at the summit as well, you may be able to take the dogsled ride on the glacier, just make sure to give yourself plenty of time to explore. It's perfect to plan the whole day for the round trip.

Don't forget it will be dark when you get the train in the morning and it will get dark again by late afternoon. Sunrise will be at 8:16 with the sun setting at 4:46. You'll be only a few days after the winter solstice, or Yule, another great holiday, the shortest day of the year.

Have a Merry Interlacken Christmas.
