Christmas hotel packages for 2015?

Jump to last reply

I am looking for somewhere in Europe to spend Christmas. I know some hotels have Christmas packages but finding them can be a pain. For example, here is one I am considering:

Can you recommend others? I am looking for somewhere not in one of the huge cities, somewhere pretty, with an old center to wander and drink hot wine and just relax. Markets and entertainment to explore, good food and pubs to enjoy a drink. Snow would be nice. I am thinking probably Eastern Europe, but I'm open to just about anywhere that has character. If it makes a difference, I'm an early 40s solo traveler. I do ski, but it's not a primary motivation so not necessary in a location.

I appreciate any recommendations.
