Children's seat on Nextbike in Wachau Valley?
Hi,
I can't seem to find information on how to rent bicycles with a children seat in Melk. We are planning a day trip from Vienna either September 16th or 17th weather permitting. I would like to take the train to Melk, rent bicyles and pedal until Krem. Since the journey to Melk from Vienna involves three train changes, I would like not struggle with bicycles rented in Vienna while tending to a 4 years old and a 18 months old. It looks like Nextbike does not have children's seats, only children bicycles. If anyone was information about children's seats, bicycles and Melk please let me know. Thank you.

You may want to send an email to www.wachau.at and ask. I know there are a couple of services offering bicycle pickup in Melk and drop off in Krems, and perhaps you have to request children's equipment.
The Vienna-Melk route, especially on weekends and pleasant weather weekdays, can fill quickly with bicycles. We know this from experience, and always, always reserve a space for our bicycles. With young children, I would skip the hassle and just rent in Melk with a return in Krems.
I hope you find this helpful.
