Chianti which town to stay in - need help choosing

I have done a lot of reading and researching and need help narrowing down where to stay in the Chianti area. We are 3 adults and a 17 year old boy looking to travel last week of June 2013 for one week. Prior to our arrival we will be in Venice for 3nts and in Bologna for 3nts. We will have a car for this part of our vacation. We would like to be near a town doesn't have to be walking distance but not too far that we wouldn't just want to go for a gelato if we want.

While here we would like to visit Florence, Lucca, Siena and maybe one other place but want to leave some days to just decide then if we want to go explore

Wish list - air conditioning, pool, internet access
I run my own business and need to check in every couple of days and why the internet access is on the list.

this one didn't have anything available for the entire week other than their largest unit at $4600 http://www.tenutedipecille.com/ and does anyone know why they quote in US dollars. I am not sure I like the fact that prices are not on their website and won't quote in Euros.
