cheapest way to get from paris to bruges one way and then amsterdam?
Hi all,
Without signing up for a tour etc, whats the cheapest way to get from paris to bruges and then onward to amsterdam?
I checked thalys.com. They have only paris-ams
Is there any link for any local bus service that they have?
I am trying to avoid the train. 100 Euro for getting to amsterdam might be beyond what i want to spend.
thanks

You can take the bus:
http://www.eurolines.fr
Based on what I've read in other threads, there are non-Thalys trains that are considerably cheaper.

Hi jm,
At www.voyages-sncf.com look for Paris to Bruges via Lille Flandres.
Also look for round trip SMILYS fares on THALYS, could be cheaper than a one-way.

If you book Paris-Lille far enough in advance (up to 90 days) at the SNCF site, you can get a PREM'S fare of €20. Leave France as the default country and print your own ticket. Take regional trains from Lille to Bruges.
For Bruges-Amsterdam, take IC trains. Sometimes faster than connecting to a Thalys train in Brussels--and a lot cheaper.
