Cheapest place to go in Europe

I'm an American student studying in France and I will be interning in the UK this summer. After a year of traveling of living on the Euro and a summer of living on the pound, my funds will have pretty much disappeared. However I'm determined to see one more country before I leave the UK. I don't really care which one, I just love going to new places! My question is, what would you say is the cheapest place to travel to in Europe?

In western Europe Portugal or Greece - in Eastern Europe most of the ex-Soviet Bloc.

Portugal has become rather expensive in the recent years, how about Poland and further east? Greece is still ok too.

Don't you think Turkey is a little more expensive than Poland, esp. since the recent revaluation of the Lira?
Sure, the weather's better down there.

I don't think it would be if one is prepared to travel "student-style." There were an awful lot of student-hostel-cheap-traveler-looking folk all over Istanbul when we were there last.

Tallinn, Estonia. I always stock up on alcohol before going back to Helsinki. And what else would an American student need in Europe.

Portugal would be my first choice, you can find some really great deals there, especially as a student. Its one of the few countries I've been to in Europe where you can still get a lot of discounts with an ISIC card.
