Well, it finally happened. My favorite cheap sleep, Albergo Abruzzi, was bought by someone else and renovated. No longer for $80 (a double) a night could I awake, open my shutters and be facing the Pantheon. I weep for times past.
So, it's time to move on! Anyone have a "reasonably" priced hotel, maybe in Trastevere or in centro, where a gal can find a double for around 100Euros a night and not fear for her life?
Cheap yet great hotels in Rome.
