Anyone know of any free or cheap parking in paris, Boulevard De Grenelle?
Found one nearby Hotel de ville at 64 Boulevard De Grenelle for 9.50 euros/day but not sure if this is private parking just for their guest or for public.
Also read on the internet It is also possible to take advantage of the large free car parking on the banks of the Seine, near Eiffel Seine Hotel 3, 3 Boulevard de Grenelle but sounds bit of a walk but be worth it. Do you have to be staying at this hotel to use the free car park? I need the car park as close to 132 Boulevard de Grenelle but has to be cheap or reasonable price i.e 9.50 euros/day. we will be needing over-night parking aswell and for 3 days around new year time.
The address we're staying at (near 132 Boulevard de Grenelle) has it's own parking but is really expensive. Any suggestions and details will be received greatfully.

parkingsdeparis.com shows three car parks reltively close to your hotel. The closest one is also the cheapest, 24 hours for €20. See here: http://tinyurl.com/yhxwj9u.
It is unrealistic to expect free parking in the middle of a major capital city in Europe or the US.
"has it's own parking but is really expensive. " What is 'expensive'?
If it is €15-€20+ a day or so, I'd think that is about the best you could hope for and it would be a real convenience to have the car nearby and secure . . . .
Um, I think you're a little confused. In France the Hotel de Ville isn't a hotel - it's the town (or city) hall.
If you google the address listed it is a hotel - but certainly not the hotel de ville. You could email the hotel and ask if the parking is only for guests (hotels in major european cities that have parking usually have limited space and are often only for guests.)
And getting free parking in the center of Paris is simply unrealistic. 15 or 20 euros per day is a perfectly reasonable rate for a major city (here in NY you'll pay $40 to park your car for the day in midtown).
Parking is free in Paris from 19:00 to 9:00 on weekdays. It is free on Saturday in posted streets (check the meter) and free on Sunday in almost all streets.
Vinci Parc has parking structures at Porte d'Orléans and Porte de la Chapelle that cost 11€ per 24h. At underground lots inside the city, you will pay much, much more.

How about on the outskirts, outside or close to the ring road, but close to a bus route?
