Cheap Flight from South of France to Ireland

Can someone give me some advice on booking an Easy Jet or other flight for my daughter from either Montpellier or Toulouse (or other local airport) flying into Ireland? I think Easyjet only connects to Belfast and if I understand the site, it would cost around $85 (plus $30 for a suitcase) for the 2 flights. Problem is a 6 hour layover in Luton. Is there a better alternatives to this - has anyone done this and have advice - Dublin would be preferred, but all the flights I see to there cost too much. (This would be for a flight in September around the 9th or 10th. How soon should I book this? It is a one way flight, she will fly home from Dublin).

Are there other cheap carriers besides EasyJet that might do this?

You don't say where exactly in Languedoc or in Ireland ?

2010 flights are very late in being announced this year, particularly those by Ryanair. Unfortunately http://www.whichbudget.com is also unable to state all 2010 routes.

These are the direct flights to Ireland that operated in 2009 :

Cork - Carcassonne Ryanair
Shannon - Girona Ryanair
Shannon - Carcassonne Ryanair
Shannon - Marseille Air Mediterranee
Shannon - Toulouse Air Mediterranee
Dublin - Barcelona Aer Lingus
Dublin - Carcassonne Ryanair
Dublin - Girona Ryanair
Dublin - Marseille Aer Lingus
Dublin - Marseille Ryanair
Dublin - Girona Ryanair
Dublin - Rodez Ryanair
Dublin - Toulouse Aer Lingus
Belfast - Toulouse Jet2
Belfast - Toulouse Thomas Cook Airlines

You need to check that they are running in 2010 and are running in September if they are seasonal.

There are more Ryanair and Easyjet flights to Ireland from Barcelona and Reus.

Note that Girona is the same distance from Montpellier as Toulouse. www.frogbus.com offer a cheap bus service from Perpignan to Girona airport.

Latest 2010 announcements are listed here : http://the-languedoc-page.com/phpBB2...pic.php?t=3903
