Cheap car service from London Soho to Stansted Airport?

Hi all,
i found a really cheap flight out of London to Shannon airport from Stansted Airport which i've never been through. I'll be staying in Soho area and wondering if there is a cheaper car service to airport than just regular taxi. Around how much would i expect to pay?
I know i can take train but i'm willing to pay for convenience since i have to leave so early in morning!
thanks much!
k

I personally would not use a car service - That is a long/expensive journey. You can take a train right to Stansted from Liverpool Street station http://www.stanstedairport.com/trans...ections/trains

Or one of the bus services which go through to the other side of central London, to a stop closer to Soho. National Express seem to run one that stops at Marble Arch, from where you could get the tube or bus to near Soho, or a taxi all the way.

Or just get Aer Lingus from Heathrow.

I refer you to the standard text on the subject as to why <o>i found a really cheap flight out of London to Shannon airport from Stansted Airport has a good chance of turning out to be a false economy

The reason a car service is so expensive is Stansted is about 40 miles/90 minutes from Soho.

So as alanRow says that cheap fare will end up costing big bucks . . .

Having flown from STN several times this year, I have to disagree that the cheap fare ends up costing big bucks, despite all the extras and hassle, it can still be significantly cheaper. You just need to do your sums & see if it really does work out cheaper for you on your dates of travel & if you can afford to spend the time travelling to STN. In my case, there has been a difference of £200+.

No-one said that the cheap fare ends up costing big bucks - it CAN end up big bucks especially if you want to travel early or late in the day, if you have checked luggage, if you fail to print off boarding passes.

Even if you do pick Ryanair, they have flights from other London airports that are more convenient to London and depending on where OP wants to go, flying to Kerry may be an option

I wasn't being literal - I meant that even if is saves a bit there is the extra hassle and IF one uses a car service, it will add up to big bucks . . .
