My two favorites are 1-800-FLY-FOR-LESS AND 1-800 LOW-AIR-FARE, ANOTHER I HAVEN'T USED AND THEY ARE MOSTLY INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS IS TFI-1-800-745-8000.THEY HAVE COMPUTERS WITH INSTANT ACCESS TO THE LOWEST FARE AVAILABLE. SOMETIMES I PROCRASTIMATE AND LET A REALLY LOW FARE GO BY AND AT OTHER TIMES IT WAS GOOD I WAITED BECAUSE A LOWER SPECIAL COMES ALONG. BECOME AWARE OF WHAT FARE YOU CAN EXPECT TO PAY AT THAT TIME OF YEAR AND THEN CALL ALL THREE AND COMPARE. I CALLED TWA DIRECT FOR LAX TO GATWICK AND GOT A QUOTE OF $1100 PLUS-- CALLED AN INTERNET TRAVEL AGENT WHO ALSO HAD AN AD IN THE L.A. TIMES THAT GOT ME THE SAME FLIGHT FOR $602 ROUNDTRIP, AND ON TWA!!. AMAZING!! I HAVE A NEPHEW WHO WATCHED THE NEWSPAPER BECAUSE HE WANTS TO COME TO CALIF FROM ANSTERDAM ON DEC 19 AND HE GOT A FAIR FOR LESS THAN $500 ROUNDTRIP BY WATCHING THE SPECIALS. GOOD LUCK!!
Here is another option I found for you-go into www.eurotrip.com---on home page click on Eurotrip Travel Links, on next page that comes up click on Airlines/Airfares- then a list comes up which I didn't preview, but they have interesting things like Airhitch, Airtech, and ticket Brokers, all cheap methods of traveling. Check it out!! Let me know if any of them workout!!
