You might want to check "Inns of Spain" to see what's on their list of charming hotels. You may find just what you're looking for.
http://www.innsofspain.com/default.aspx
Casa Morisca was very nice ( Granada)
small and atmospheric.
Not good if you are driving.
Thanks Robert and Danon very much.
Hi lol, hmmzz....thats an interesting name you have there.Anywayz ..my cousin had been a trip to Madrid and he had booked his hotels from http://www.sletoh.com/r161276.html which has a list of hotels to select from and option for different cities too.
Enjoy the Trip, Lol.
Wondering why the SPAM from the above poster has not yet been removed...same repetitive posts plugging a booking service...
I have used sometimes
http://www.rusticae.es/
and found and unusual selection of goog quality hotels.
lol,
All of the Rusticae properties are bookable on www.innsofspain.com. If you see something you like, either go through Inns of Spain or just book directly with the Rusticae inn. Rusticae's own booking service is unreliable. My friends own a Rusticae and complain constantly about the Rusticae online booking.
Here are others that I use:
www.secretplaces.com (like Inns of Spain but based in Portugal)
www.i-escape.com
www.estancias.com
www.littlehotellsofspain.co.uk
www.ruralka.com
www.casonasasturianas.com (for Austurias only)
www.calidadcantabria.com (for Cantabria)
www.nekatur.net (Basque Country)
www.sawdays.co.uk (Alistair Sawday's "Special Places to Stay/Spain" guide)
www.johansens.com (but they tend to be high end)
Thanks everyone,I will make sure to check all the links you mentioned. Thank you Maribel for all the detailed information.
