Change to Victoria line at Oxford Circus or Green Park?

Monday morning I need to travel from Drury Lane to Victoria (10:00 train). I'll have a rolling 22 inch and a day pack and can manage escalators but want to minimize stairs and walking. I know the change from the Jubilee line at Green Park is a route march, how is Piccadilly to Victoria? Will I be happier taking the Central to Oxford Circus? Thanks.

The change from Piccadilly to Victoria Line at Green Park is a long walk, but there are lifts between the platforms and interchange corridors. I can't remember the position at Oxford Circus, but TfL say interchange is possible without stairs.

More importantly, there will be at least some stairs at Victoria. If memory serves, there are escalators up from the Victoria Line to the ticket concourse, but there are certainly a couple of dozen steps up from the ticket concourse to the main station (I know, it's a disgrace, but I suppose they'll get round to it one day).

You could walk up Drury Lane to Bloomsbury Way to get the 38 bus,or if they look too crowded, look out for a taxi - there should be plenty there at that time of day.

Thanks Patrick. I took the bus yesterday (although from the Strand) when I picked up my tickets, and it seemed to take a looong time.

My phone is now suggesting the District line from Temple. A bit further to walk than Holborn, but no changes and no traffic worries...

Was it you, thursdaysd? I can't be the only one also wondering.

I wound up taking the 38 from Cambridge Circus. As I got there, two number 38s were waiting at a red light, so I got on the back of the second...

Note that it's not only step free access from the tube that needs to be addressed. The main toilets are down steps too, although there were just two at the top. Of course, I'm used to descending into the depths to reach the toilets in London, but it's a bit different with luggage.
