Champagne tours in Reims

I am organizing a day trip from Paris to Reims for a small group (5 people). Looking for recommendations for a nice tour and tasting at a house that isn't too physically challenging for a member of our group. Read that Pommery has 116 steps down into the caves and that might present a problem walking back up. Piper-Heidsieck has tours in the little electric cars and that looked good. Anyone with experience and can offer help? I've booked a table at Le Foch for lunch and also plan too see the cathedral and anything else that we have time for.
Many thanks for any suggestions,
Peg

We took the P-H tour train--a bit hokey, but better than nothing. Afterwards we drove to Moet-Chandon--that was a fantastic (English speaking)tour, but walking down and through caves (find out if they have wheelchairs). Well worth the effort if they do. You may have to call, there isn't much on the web that I can find.

You might consider buying a day pass for the bus system. The Citadines lines 1&2 run clock & counter-clockwise through most of the tourist sites every day but Sunday. It saved me a few steps in March.

We took the P-H tour and thought it was great. There are some steps going down, then an elevator back up after the cart ride.
