Chamonix in June??

I'm putting together an Itinerary for next June and would like some info Chamonix. I am looking at possibly 3 days there to carry out the following

1)Montenvers mountain train
2) Look around Chamonix
3)possible train ride to Martigny Switzerland
4) Aiguille du midi cable car

My questions are

1) is the June weather good at this time of year
2) I have checked school holidays for france in 2013 and it would appear June would be a quieter time to visit with less tourists?
3) I will have a hire car and will most likely stay out of town and park in one of the carparks during the day. Assuming thisis a quieter time of year , then there should be ample parking in town?
4) Is three days too long, if so I am sure it will be easy enough to take a scenic drive out of town?
5) Any hotel recommendations around 100 euro or less which have parking facilities is appreciated.
