Central Portugal in March: Weather & Tips?

Jump to last reply

We're thinking of taking a bike trip in Central Portugal in early March. Has anyone been there around that time? What's the weather generally like? Are things open? The trip would be around Coimbra, São Lourenço, Praia de Mira, Lousã, etc. All I can find are weather averages for Lisbon, but I don't know if this region has different weather, being a bit in the mountains. It says Lisbon averages highs of 66 degrees for March, which sounds nice, but I don't know if it's going to rain all the time.

Apart from weather info, does anyone have any recommendations for restaurants or wine bars or sights to see? Anything would be welcome!

Thanks in advance!
