Hi all, I will going to central europe on 25 May.
This is my itinerary...hope get opnion from yours or any better suggestion...

28 Budapest to Krakow (Take 6:55pm train from Budapest to Krakow ) - Worry abt the rob and thief issue at night train.
If not safe, may be go to slovakia and overnight there then travel to krakow on day time.

31 Krakow - Prague ( Night train again ) - is it safe??

1 ) any good or better suggestion like any other place MUST visit ??
2) Any shortest way from ceske Krumlov to Bad Ischl ? cos i cant find train infor from ceske krumlov direct to Bad Ischl. so plan stop at Salzburg..
3) Warsaw and Krakow ? which one nicer??
4) How abt Zurich , Lucerne and Interlaken??

If you're worried about safety on a night train, reserve a sleeper car as they have locks. Just dont buy a seats ticket.
If you check some of th earlier postings on this board, you will find that the usual recommendation is not to stay in Interlaken, but Lauterbrunnen, Wengen, Muerren,etc. If you want to visit the mountains from I. you will have to take the train anyhow to get to the mountain cable cars, Jungfraubahn, trains etc. So you might as well stay a bit closer.
2) From Ceske Krumlov to Bad Isckl, perhaps you could take bus to Cesky Budejovice, train to Linz, change train to Attnang-Puchheim (less than 30 minutes); from Attnang-Puchheim, hourly train to Bad Ischl.
