Just check the charger that comes with the phone. Almost surely it will say something to the effect v 110-240; it means the charger will work. What you will need is an Italian (European) adapter plug for a couple of dollars available most everywhere (even on ebay!).
Thanks xyz123 .... Is the adaptor plug those small square ones ?
For the continent, you need one two round plugs. You will need a different one for the UK.
you can most likely pick one up in the airport.
All you need is the adapter plug!
I'm still whining because my Nikon charger will work fine, but the CORD from the charger to the outlet is not rated high enough for European current. So, I have to buy a European cord and have an adapter plug.
Too bad all electronics aren't as easy as the Apple line.
