Has anyone visited these places? I am trying to pick one for a few days stay. What we want is an interesting place with historic ambience in a seaside setting where we can wander the waterfront and the local streets and alleyways. The place itself does not have to have any great tourist sites, and we are not looking to go to the beach and don't want a beach resort with loungers lined up everywhere. We just want the interest a harbor town provides. I think in all three of them we could also find enough day trips of interest to keep us busy for a few days. A great local market would also be a plus.

If it helps, we really enjoyed the seaside ambience of Ortygia and just wandering around the old town away from all of the main touristy areas.

Thoughts? Thanks much.
