I will be returning from Florence to Boston. I land in CDG at Terminal 2G, I have 1 hour and 25 minutes to get the connecting flight in Terminal 2E. Does any one know if this is enough time to clear French security and get to Terminal 2E??
I have heard some real horror stories.
Thank You

That seems pretty minimal to me--most planes land far out on the tarmac, with passengers' being bused in to the terminals. If you miss the first buss, you just get way behind for Immigration and then have to go through security on your way to the connecting flight.
I'd be very worried with less than 2 hours for a connection.
Arriving from Florence, immigration and security are not issues. It is just a connecting flight. You would need to shuttle between 2G and 2E and I would think 1 hour 25 minutes would be enough.
Rather than attempting to navigate CDG on your own - on arrival, go to the Transfer Desk for the most efficient instructions on getting to the gate for your next flight.
The very isolation of 2G from the other terminals ensures that the shuttle services are very quick and efficient.
You will need to go through passport control (to exit the Schengen area) and security prior to your flight to Boston. But that amount of time should be sufficient.
Thank you for all the information.
Please post back and let us know how it went. Your actual experience with this will be useful to others. Safe trip.

Yes, I will do that. It will be the middle of July.
Thank You
The physical movement would not be that time consuming even though 2G is a remote terminal. The return process to the US would be time consuming. From 2G, the shuttle bus runs counter-clockwise; first to 2F, then to 2D, 2B, 2A, 2C, 2E. I presume the fastest way is to get off at 2F and walk over to 2E using the underground passage. The announcement display would tell you when to get off. When I did 2F to 2G transfer, the direction told me to walk over to 2E to catch bus to 2G, so I presume walking 2F-2E is faster than the bus making 2F-2D-2B-2A-2C-2E loop. The security process for any US bound flight is very time consuming.
