CDG---4 1/2 hrs. to kill
Arriving terminal E, 8:10am
Departing terminal F,12:40
We have flown into CDG many times but Paris was our destination so we didn't spend much time there. That isn't enough time to go anywhere, so what are our options for maybe a bite to eat in terminal F?

Hi TP,
Arriving at 08:10 means you won;t be inside the terminal before 08:30.
Find a place to get a newspaper and a cuppa. This will take you to 09:15
Have a croissant and another cuppa. - 10:00
Get a magazine or a paperback.
Time for a glass of wine and some cheese - 10:45
Repeat - 11:30
Have another wine and a sandwich:
Time to board
Enjoy your visit.

ira---Good idea. A few cups of coffee and then a few glasses of wine, along with no sleep for 24+ hrs. will definitely make me an interesting person to be around. I'll definitely bring a good book and a good attitude. Savoring will have to be worked on at this point. I'll give it my best, and I'll be sure to mention the "savoring" part to MDH---very funny 29FEB.
Better cafes in terminal E or should we head over to terminal F right away?

I must be missing something, because we're going to be in Terminal 2F next week also and have almost that much time before we need to get on the TGV, and I can't find any CDG website/map that shows anyplace to eat in 2F (other than snacks from the Relay). I'll keep looking, but I'm thinking we'll just head to the Gare SNCF, where I know there are at least two cafés.

They have a couple restaurants in there, Brasserie Flo and Maxims, as well as severeal other more fast-food type places (like Pauls)

just go in here and look at the map for Terminal F departures http://www.aeroportsdeparis.fr/ADP/e...aris-CDG/maps/
Brasserie Flo is at the very end, next to sortie 1.

Well, thanks. I did see Maxim's on one teeny, tiny map of Terminal 2, which I could not figure out how to blow up, but missed Brasserie Flo and Paul's. Doubt we'll be ready for a big meal at 7 am, but Paul's is always OK for me. Anyway, it's Paris - I know we won't starve!
