Catalonia
In September we are booked in Barcelona-but arriving in Spain 7 days before our time in Barcelona-we have booked 4 nights in Tarragona and 3 nights in Girona but now thinking of omitting Tarragona and spending 4 nights in the Pyrennes-Pigcerda-our main interest is scenery-we have visited so many wine areas and thinking to not go to Priorat at this time-we have also been to Monserrat so thinking that to spend the time in the Northern part of Catalonia and Pyrennees might be a better option. Any suggestions-especially about visitng the eastern part of the Pyrenees. Thank you for all of your suggestions. Sandra

We've had lunch just outside of Puigcerdà, but have stayed in and around La Seu d'Urgell. I would take a look at Cal Marrufès (www.calmarrufes.cat), in Puigcerdà, which has gotten some good reviews.
The nicest property in the area of La Seu d'Urgell is Castell de Ciutat, but the Parador isn't bad, especially if you are a Amigos member.
