Castle/Museum Pass

Jump to last reply

Just starting to plan our 16 day trip to Ireland. Itinerary not set as yet except for first 6 nights at resort hotel 30 minutes from Dublin. The last time we went to Scotland and England (10 ago) we purchased a pass ahead of our trip that got us into nearly all castles and many museums and jumped the lines. We loved it because we could justify spending just 30 minutes in a castle that would have cost 16 pounds to just enter. It was only available to purchase here in the US. Does anyone know of any passes like this available for Ireland and NI? I want to plan our itinerary around castles and need to budget the often hefty entrance fees. Thanks--I have always been able to count on great info from Fodorites!
