Carte Grise change

Mercedes Sprinter 316 Rimor Superbrig 728

Hi all, I wonder if anyone can help in a matter I have, I have French registered my motorhome and have all the plates, Carte Grise etc and now we have decided to sell it. We have only noticed now that on the CG that it only states 2 places Driver and Passenger and not the 4 passengers in the rear 2x 3 point belts and 2x rear facing lap belts. The Certificate of Conformity also states 2 front and 4 rear, we are having a nightmare trying to ask the DRIRE and Prefecture to change this. We have spoken to the guy at the DRIRE where it was all registered and he says that all French motorhomes have only 2 places, we know this rubbish as when we enquired about selling it last year the Camping-Car sales said that it needs to be registered for 6.

Has anyone come across this problem before and if anyone can help out and point us in the right direction.

Thanks in advance.

The DRIRE is the reason I let my old Volvo car rot for 10 years in southern France before getting rid of it.

good luck though.

Wrong forum really. The chances of anyone here coming up with an answer are slim and none.

Post in some RV forums.
