Cardiff Weekend Visit Restaurant Advice Needed please
Hi we are visiting Cardiff (it's a Christmas present!) for the weekend soon, staying at the Hilton.
I need some help please, we hope to visit Cardiff Castle, Museum of Wales, St Fagans (sp?) over the weekend but are pretty lost about restaurant information. We'll be driving so have car to get about.
Any advice much appreciated. thanks

FWIW, the only restaurant I've ever been to in Cardiff: The Thai House Restaurant, Guildford Crescent, CF10 2HJ.
It's very close to the CIA, which is why I was there. Excellent food and service. It's got its own website. You will probably need to book. Enjoy Cardiff, nice city.

twotravel - When we were in Cardiff we did a very nice tour of the new Millenium Stadium. You get to see the changerooms, etc.etc. and if you are lucky like I was, you may even find yourself sitting in Her Majesty The Queen's favourite seat! You have to book so will get tickets online.
I love history so we also went to Caerleon the ancient Roman Fort just outside Cardiff.

I hadn't thought of that tour, so thanks for the info. We hoped to go to St Fagans, National Museum of Wales in Cardiff, possibly Big Pit, and Cardiff Castle, so not sure if enough time on this visit but will look into it.
thanks.
thanks.

Where's Mucky when you need him?
There is a nice restaurant underneath St David's Hall right in the centre of Cardiff.
A bit of googling about it came up with the name La Fosse. Also there are supposedly some nice restaurants in the new 'brewery area' which is close to the centre.
