Cardiff car travel question
We will be driving into Cardiff from the north to attend the U2 concert on 6-29.
I'm concerned about 70,000 people trying to get into Cardiff that day.
Would it be better to take the M4 via the M5 and come in from the East, or from the M5 take the M50 to A40/A449 near Ross-on-Wye from the North.
We are staying at the Big Blue Hotel in the heart of Cardiff.
Thanks,
Sam

Whichever you take you are going to be on the M4 by the time you hit Newport.-As I type this I realise that I will also be in Cardiff on the 29th, but I'm not worried about getting in. Cardiff often copes with capacity crowds in the Stadium. I suggest you aim to get in early so if there is a hold up it will not delay you getting to the concert.
Get a map showing the hotel which is to the east of the station along the railway line.
You'll have a great time.
