Car travel from Munich-Fussen-Bad Ragaz-Interlaken: Roads?
We will be picking up a car in Munich to drive to Fussen, then to Bad Ragaz, Switzerland and finally to Interlaken. We have to rent a larger than our usual size car because of other passengers coming with us and their luggage. We are renting a Volkswagon Passat Wagon.
Question: Are there any small roads traveling between these places that a car this size would not do well on?

Fuessen - Bad Ragaz:
all motorway except 2 very short legs (Grossholzreute - Schlachters, Altach - Kriessern) on broad regional roads.
Bad Ragaz - Interlaken:
If you travel via Zurich Sud - Zurich West - Limmattaler Kreuz - Bern Wankdorf, you must never leave the motorway.
If you take the (less boring) itinerary via Lucerne, you will have 2 legs on local roads:
Waedenswil - Sihlbrugg
Giswil - Unterbach
These stretches are only about 8 metres broad and have some curves. Buses and lorries pass there without the slightest problem, however.
There exist much more scenic aternatives through the Alps (for both itineraries) where a VW Passat wouldn't have problems neither.

Google maps gives the Lucerne itinerary of Bad Ragaz to Interlaken.

Tell me, tell me!

either via Chur - Oberalp Pass - Furka Pass (Rhone Glacier Ice Cave) - Grimsel Pass (steepest cablecar/rope railway/funicular of the world from Handegg to lake Gelmer)
or via Glarus - Klausen Pass - Susten Pass (Stein Glacier; hike to Trift Bridge, if you are equipped for)

You don't say when you're traveling, but if you will be in the Bad Ragaz area between May 10 and the beginning of November, I highly recommend stopping to take in the Bad Ragartz outdoor sculpture exhibition. Works from around the world are placed in the parks and other public areas. It's held every three years; we made an overnight stay there in 2012 to take in the last exhibition and it was definitely worth it. We spent a few hours looking at the interesting sculptures and another few hours in the spa.

We spent the night in Sorell Hotel Tamina. A pleasant four-star property with a good on-site restaurant; about a five minute walk from the spa. We came by train, but the hotel has parking spaces for about 15 francs a night -- I think you need to reserve a parking spot in advance.
