Car service from Vienna Airport
We will arrive at Vienna airport on Oct. 5th about 1:30 pm. I am looking for a reliable car service to precook to take us to Meridian Hotel.
The next day I will have to go back to airport for a Eurowing 1:30pm flight to Italy. Wondering from hotel what time I should leave for hotel.
Thank you!

You might have a particular reason for wanting to reserve a car service, but I just a took a taxi the center of Vienna & it was a flat fixed fare as I recall. Many empty taxis are lined up outside the station at the official taxi stand.
I take many taxis to many airports and I have found that letting your hotel desk & the local driver what time your flight departs, and letting them tell you when the pick up at your hotel should be is the best way to go about it

There is a taxi queue outside baggage for your transit into Vienna.
For the return, your hotel can request a taxi for a flat rate to the airport. For Schengen travel, an 1130 taxi is more than sufficient.

Well, people can have reasons they don't disclose in their questions. When I am traveling with people over 90 (and I sometimes do!) then I pre-book a pick up. I don't want to get to the queue and find out there is a very long line (which I can tolerate on my own), or that it is somewhere exposed to the elements where it would be cold or wet to stand there for long. I would also pre-book a service if I had to get to a meeting. Or if I was traveling with a baby/toddler & wanted a guarantee of a car seat. List goes on.
But sometimes people just aren't aware of how easily taxis are available at an airport, because at some sirports, they are practically non-existent.

I am neither 90 nor traveling with kids. We are on a 12 hour flight from LA and I just wanted to ask about the most convenient way to get to the hotel.
Massimop you always seem to answer people's questions thoroughly and nicely even if you have other ideas of what they should do. I have read your helpful responses on numerous threads. Not the case for some other people on this forum!

"I don't get this idea of having to book a private car service."
Oh, a personal car service is a treat, depending on where we travel. Arriving in Doha at 0630 after a four-hour layover in Amman? Arriving in Yerevan at 0030? Definitely appreciated walking out of baggage to see our name on a sign. Taking a city break to Dublin last February? We purchased airport shuttle tickets to and fro.
Vienna's public transportation is easy to navigate and very efficient; still, after a 12 hour flight the OP would then have one transfer and a few blocks to walk. I would take a taxi, too.
