Car rental/train option to Paola/San Lucido Italy? - Mom and 3 kids

Jump to last reply

I'm in Paris on Monday and need to get to San Lucido Italy by Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. The options to fly to SUF (Lamezia Terme) have me arriving all sorts of very late timings and/or long layovers. Looks like flying into Naples is a better option but argh. I really am not excited to manage the transfer in Naples to train station. But could do it. In the end I want a car for hanging out in San Lucido for 4 days. I could get to San Lucido and then after meeting up with friends go to Cosenza or SUF airport to get a car...

Ideas?
I think probably makes sense to rent car in naples and just go direct vs transfer to train then also figure out car. Right now I have train reservations for Paola back to Rome on July 3 but I guess if I had to I could drive the car back to Naples.....

I'm not excited about driving at all.

In my dreams I fly right into SUF but the timings and expense just doens't seem to make that make sense. Alternately there is a way to rent a car near Paola (which is where train would go to).

Thanks for any ideas.
