Trying to decide if I should drop off my rental car the day/evening before my flight.
I have an Int'l departure at 8:55am, need to be at the airport by 7am.
Are the rental car offices actually in the airport or do you have to take a shuttle to the airport after returning your car?
Any advice?
Car rental offices - at FCO or shuttle req'd?

They are directly across from the terminals in a large parking garage---it is a 4 minute walk across a bridge.
If your departure is to the USA I would be there before that.
I would stay at the airport and drop the car the nite prior.
Thanks Bob. I don't want to try and get there that morning, between traffic and hours of operation, I'll play it safe and return the day before.
As you drive toward the terminals, STAY LEFT and follow the signs for the car vendors---again, stay left and pull into the parking garages---probably building B.
It depends on the rental company. We used Advantage (then part of Hertz) and they were off-airport by quite a way.
