Car rental logistics at Bologna airport?

Jump to last reply

I'll be doing a solo bike trip to Italy next May, and I'm thinking of flying in and out of Bologna. Since I'll be traveling with a bike box and other luggage, I'm hoping for easy access to the car rental lots from the airport terminal.

Can anyone give me some information about the car rental set-up at the Bologna airport? I'm hoping it will be similar to the Venice airport, where it's a short walk from the terminal to the car rental lots, and you can use one of the airport luggage carts for the trip. On the other hand, an arrangement like that in Florence, where you have to take a bus from the terminal to the car rental lots, would be more difficult for me to manage.

Any info about the car rental logistics at BLQ would be greatly appreciated!
