Car rental location choice

Jump to last reply

My sister and I are traveling from Brussels to Reims. We are going to rent a car to travel around the Champagne Region. We are planning on taking a train from Brussels. Would it be best to rent a car in Paris at Gare du Nord and drive from there or make the train connection and pick it up in Reims?

We will be picking up the car on a Sunday afternoon. The plus side of picking it up in Reims is that we don't have to deal with traffic in Paris. We will be returning it on Thursday. We aren't sure if it is worth the hassle of driving in Paris or making the train connection and picking it up in Reims.

Any advice is appreciated.
