Car Rental at Malaga Port

Arriving Malaga on Prinsendam and would like to rent a car for that day (17 September). Is there a car rental agency at the port as online all I see are rental agencies at the airport. Any help would be appreciated.

You'll find all the major car rental agencies in the excellent María Zambrano train station close to the port, 4 mins and 4€ taxi drive: http://www.andalucia.com/cities/mala...in-station.htm

But I think you should have very good reasons for wanting to go out of town, and you most probably have ;-) Málaga is now one of three Spanish cities on New York Times "52 Places to go in 2016" list. "Beauty, but now a cultural capital, too": http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2...isit.html?_r=1

Thanks for the rapid response. We need a car to see a Villa in Casarbonela we are (8 of us) thinking of renting in September 2017.
Your links were wonderful and we will take advantage of them either this year or when we return.

Have a great trip!

And when you return in 2017, the luxcury Gran Hotel Miramar from 1926 has reopened. Right on the Malagueta beach: http://www.granhotelmiramarmalaga.com/en/

Among many other things, there will be five "restaurants spaces" in here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2s6t-9Rsl7s

Hi!
I would recommend you Bidupp. It's not a rental car company but a transfer company which can pick up you and take you wherever you want, cheap and super easy t use!
Hope it was useful, best wishes!
