Canary Islands all-inclusive over the Xmas hols - recommendations, anyone?

Hubby and I (we're in our 50s) are looking for somewhere warm, sunny and quiet - no families/children (i.e., adult only section) - for 7 days over the Xmas hols (traveling from the UK).

£2,000-ish total budget

We've never been to the Canaries but we'd like to give it a go.

What are your favourite resorts in the Canaries that would meet our requirements?
