Can You Name theTen Most Popular Tourist Cities In Europe???
http://www.tripit.com/destinations/1...ons-in-europe/
Before looking how many of the Top Ten tourist cities in Europe (according to one poll at least; there are no doubt other versions with varying results) can you name and in what order at the top? Keep in mind that number of tourists means just that - thus a city off our usual top tourist places may sneek in - like a few did for me.

I will take one stab at it.
In no particular order.
London
Paris
Rome
Prague
Amsterdam
Vienna
Madrid
Dublin
Barcelona
and
how about Istanbul, this is still Europe
Heck this leaves out all of Germany!

Yes no Deutschland - Berlin is was too far out of the loop in remote northwestern Allemagne - Dublin? Again it's European who probably make up the most of these visitors - American visitors would no doubt have Venice and Florence on the list - surprised a place like Nice did not get a nod.

" can you name and in what order at the top?"
Name what?
Most visited cities? By everyone, or just foreigners? Is overnighting essential to PalQ's definition? Do they have to be tourists (businesspeople spend more - and matter more)?
And what's heavy visiting - or use - got to do with "popular"? At least twice as many people fly through London's airports every year as the airports of any other European city. Not even their shareholders would claim any of them (except possibly LCY, which scarcely anyone uses) are popular.

Hey ole chap - <Is overnighting essential to PalQ's definition?> it is not my criteria and if you read my intro I cast doubts on this being the only such survey - it is what it is - the total number of visitors in each city (not airport I would think unless you consider Heathrow or Gatwick or Stansted or Luton to be a part of London or in London. It is NOT my definition but one of many surveys but seemingly rather right on if you think about it.
And yes it is human beings too I think not creatures like the flannerpooch - so ole chap don't attack the messenger...
Cheers,
Your pal!
